Fundraising Dinner Served to The Good Shepherd Tabernacle
September 9, 2017
The Fellowcraft Club provided and served dinner this past Saturday to the Good Shepherd Tabernacle. The dinner served received many compliments. We were light with help when Bro T. Mott came in to help. Bro Mott recently had surgery and is recovering but came to help anyway. Then, Bro K. Rhodes walked in bringing the troops from the GOW School. These young men eagerly served the dinner and bused the tables. Many members from the Tabernacle were curious who these polite young men were. Bro Rhodes spent a couple of minutes talking to the guests about the GOW School and the men he brought. It was a fun and easy evening.
Appetizer: Cheese and cracker platter with mini sausages in a zesty sauce.
Main Entrée: Marinated chicken breast along with scalloped potatoes and peas.
Thanks to those who came and supported the lodge.

We sincerely thank the Good Shepherd Tabernacle for continuing to put their trust in us for their dinners. Our Brothers from the Ronald J. Keel Fellowcraft Club are hosting a Stone Soup Volunteer Event April 18, 2015 at the Historic Grain Elevators at Silo City. “All Lodges, Concordant Bodies, Youth and Women’s Organizations from our Masoic Family of Erie County are encouraged to help” – And join in with the fun!
Please see the below flyer for additional information. If you want to volunteer please contact Bro. John, or Bro. Mark on the flyer or fill out the below form.
Please see the note below from Ken regarding helping out at the Erie County Fair supporting the Masonic ID program.
I am asking for your support on Tuesday, August 12th for Blazing Star Lodge. There are two shifts, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and 2:30 pm until closing. If you can only make a partial shift, that’s okay too. All help is appreciated Spouses and girlfriends are also welcome to participate. Please let me know as soon as possible if you can support your lodge for this important Masonic program. You will be provided free entry into the fair. If you have any questions, just give me a call.
We are now 19 days away from the opening of this year Erie County Fair. To date I have received word from some of our Lodges. Some have locked in dates that they will cover during the Fair: Living Stone will help cover the 10th and the 17th, Charles W. Cusman Lodge will assist with the 10th, Washington Lodge has picked the 9th, and West Seneca Lodge has the 13th. Let me know if your Lodge has a date in mind (weekdays are greatly appreciated).
Thank you for your response to date.
There are still a lot of days and time slots waiting to be filled. Please continue canvas your Lodge and get as many volunteers as possible so that we can maintain the success rate that we have experienced in the past.
You do not have to be computer savvy to work at the site. We need individuals to work the laminating machine, check people in, crowd control, greeters, and many other functions.
Remember we are trying to fill two basic time slots each day, one from about 10:00am through 3:00pm and the other from 2:30pm till close. The volunteers are welcome for any day and multiple days are encouraged. They don’t have to be with just their own Lodge. We like to increase the camaraderie among all Brothers whenever possible.
Spouses, significant others, and friends are welcome. We will work with you to cover admission and parking where possible. Get me lists of your volunteers their date(s), contact information as soon as you are able.
