Brother Bring A Friend

Brothers,

Our last communication was a First Degree. Bro. Snyder did a fantastic job of arranging and conferring the degree. He will make a fine Master in the years to come.

Our next communication will be January 14, 2020, and is the Brother bring a friend night. If you know of any worthy gentlemen who would be a good fit in Masonry invite him/them along. We will also try a few games after the meeting. Maybe left/right/center, cards, and I may bring the corn hole boards and we can further discuss challenging other Lodges to a tournament.

I hope the New Year is safe, joyous, prosperous, and filled with only the best. My Brothers, look to the future, goodbye to 2019 and hello to 2020 and a new decade. May there be more Light!!!

Respectfully and fraternally,
W:. Glenn

Memorial Night

Brothers,
Tuesday night, November 26, 2019, will be our Memorial Night at the Lodge to remember and honor those Brothers that have laid down the working tools this past year. These are the Brothers who ran the quarries before us and paved the way to keep masonry going so that we could carry on its great works. They should be honored and remembered with respect, and reverence. This is our way as Brothers to say goodbye until we meet again.

This year we had only one Brother enter the Celestial Lodge Above.  Fredric B. Ridenour, Jr.  Our Brother Ridenour became a Mason in 1964.   He was Master in 1971, and when he put down the working tools in October, he did so with 55 years of grand service in The Craft.

Dinner is at 6:30 and we will open at 7:30 prompt. I am told Brother Markus has dinner handled and as always it should be fit for kings. Proper Masonic dress required.

Respectfully and Fraternally,
W:. Glenn Scott

DDGM Official Visit November 12th

At our last communication the R:.W:. Brad Keuther put on a very well-received Lincoln presentation. R:.W:. Keuther recalled The President’s childhood through his presidency.  We have a couple more guest speakers coming to the Lodge this year. I would recommend coming to see them and see what your Lodge is all about.  Especially if it has been a while since your last attendance. Don’t forget that October is a five (5) Tuesday month so our next communication is on November 12th, not every other week as it sometimes seems. The communication will be the official DDGM visit and the Junior Warden has promised something special for dinner. I cannot tell you what he is preparing because I don’t know. The only way to find out is to come out.

As always dinner is at 6:30 PM and we will open at 7:15 PM sharp so we can conduct business and still be respectful of the  DDGM’s time.  Thanks to all of you that make Masonry an amazing journey as it is always about the journey, not the destination.

Respectfully and Fraternally,

W:. Glenn Scott
