The Brothers of Blazing Star Lodge joined the East Aurora Sidewalk Sale yesterday serving hot dogs, hamburgers, and the in-famous Dogaburger! The weather was perfect, sunny with a nice breeze to keep things cool. Everyone had a great time and it is always amazing getting out and mingling with the neighbors. The Fisher-Price Collectors Club members were selling their toys in the Lodge and from the sounds of things they had a successful and fun day too (without the breeze).
We do these fundraisers to help us continue our charitable contributions, specifically Brothers Of The Bread where we pick up bread and other overstocked perishable items from manufacturers and supply local food pantries with much-needed food. We are on track to supplying over 30,000 loaves this year. Be assured that all proceeds generated through those who purchased hot dogs, hamburgers, or drinks from us will go to a good cause.
