East Aurora Sidewalk Sale 2022

The Brothers of Blazing Star Lodge joined the East Aurora Sidewalk Sale yesterday serving hot dogs, hamburgers, and the in-famous Dogaburger! The weather was perfect, sunny with a nice breeze to keep things cool. Everyone had a great time and it is always amazing getting out and mingling with the neighbors. The Fisher-Price Collectors Club members were selling their toys in the Lodge and from the sounds of things they had a successful and fun day too (without the breeze).

We do these fundraisers to help us continue our charitable contributions, specifically Brothers Of The Bread where we pick up bread and other overstocked perishable items from manufacturers and supply local food pantries with much-needed food. We are on track to supplying over 30,000 loaves this year. Be assured that all proceeds generated through those who purchased hot dogs, hamburgers, or drinks from us will go to a good cause. Thank you for your support.

Check out that heat! Don’t touch that! It’s hot!

See you next at the Toy Town Car Show! Sunday, August 28, 2022. Would you like something other than hot dogs and hamburgers? Let us know, all suggestions are welcome and considered.

Olde Timers’ Night

It’s that time of the year again. The time when we begin to settle down for the summer. We put in a lot of hours planning and preparing for the East Aurora Music Fest, and for our Sessquincenntial Charter Rededication. Now it is time to relax. At Blazing Star Lodge we gather together in an informal site away from the Lodge. We Tyle as usual but there is a relaxed feeling. Not much business is done, we hand out awards and the new officers in their new chairs have their first crack at their lines. We have lots of laughs and always have room for more to share this evening with us. This is when the Fellowship is at it’s best. This year we are having a delicious chicken BBQ with all of the fixins’. We have some random items to raffle off and the Fellowship will be overflowing.

It is our sincere hope that any and all Masons that are able to come out do so and enjoy this evening with us (Directions below). If you need a ride you can always contact us and someone WILL make sure you get there and home safely. The dress code is casual so come as you are, we can handle some last-minute arrivals however, if you can let us know you are coming we can properly prepare enough dinner to go around.
